Play MP4, MOV and WebM videos
Videos play in the same window as your photos, so a folder from a phone or camera needs one program. Speed, repeat and mute are one key away.
How to open it, step by step
- Install SeeAnyFile. It is free for Windows 10 and 11 and needs no account.
- Double-click the video or drag it onto the window.
- Press Space to play or pause and M to mute; choose the speed and turn on repeat in the player bar.
- Use the arrow keys to move on to the next photo or video in the folder.

Good to know
- H.264 MP4 and WebM (VP8, VP9, AV1) play on every PC. HEVC (H.265) video plays only when Windows has the HEVC codec.
- MKV, AVI and WMV are recognised by name but not played.
Questions
Why won’t an iPhone video play?
iPhones often record HEVC (H.265). Windows plays it only with the HEVC Video Extensions installed; SeeAnyFile tells you when a video uses a codec this PC cannot play.
Which formats play?
MP4 and M4V, MOV, WebM and Ogg video (OGV).
Can I make a video from my photos?
