Convert a PDF to PowerPoint

Want to reuse slides someone sent you as a PDF? SeeAnyFile turns each page into a slide on your PC, with the text in boxes you can edit, or with each page as one picture when the look matters most.

How to do it, step by step

  1. Open the PDF in SeeAnyFile.
  2. Open Convert PDF and choose PowerPoint (.pptx).
  3. Choose Editable, with text boxes and pictures, or Exact look, with each page as one picture at 150 or 300 dpi.
  4. Save. A long PDF runs as a job with progress, which you can pause.
  5. Open the new .pptx, saved beside the PDF (as “name (1).pptx” if the name is taken).

What you can do with it

  • One slide per page, sized to the shape of the page.
  • Lines of text become text boxes at their size, bold and italic kept where the PDF marks them.
  • Pictures are placed as pictures; drawings that cannot be carried become the slide's background without their text, so nothing appears twice.
  • Korean, Japanese and Chinese text gets the right font slots, so PowerPoint does not show empty boxes.

Where your file goes

The PDF is converted on your PC. Nothing is uploaded, which matters for the contracts, reports and decks that people usually send to a converter website.

Good to know

  • A scanned page holds a picture, not text, so its slide is a picture too.
  • Text boxes follow the lines of the PDF, not its paragraphs, so a dense layout may need small touch-ups.

Questions

Can I edit the text in PowerPoint afterwards?

Yes. In Editable mode every line of text is a text box. Exact look gives one picture per slide instead.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The slides are made on your computer.

Can I convert several PDFs at once?

Yes. Choose them together in the batch dialog; each gets its own .pptx beside it.
